My Fiancé's Betrayal Became His Biggest Regret
Chapter 5
###Chapter 5
Oliver's expression turned even colder. "Be good, and things will go easier for you. Don't test my patience."
"Forget it. It's all my fault. Please don't be angry with Alessia." Louise's shoulders shook as she continued to sob, her expression pitiful to the extreme.
Oliver grew even angrier. He was about to say something when his phone rang at his waist. He took it out, glanced at the screen, and stepped outside to answer the call.
I had just turned to leave when Louise reached out to block my way, a triumphant smile spreading across her face.
"Trying to leave? Not so fast, Alessia. Guys, your treat has arrived!" she squealed.
In the next instant, Oliver's group of friends closed in around me. Their shameless, predatory stares made me instinctively turn and try to flee.
But a man seized my wrist in a crushing grip.
It was Jericho, the very man who had first suggested that Oliver livestream me.
His eyes roamed over me, practically trying to peer beneath the fabric of my clothes.
"I'm so jealous of Oliver. He gets to keep a beauty like you all to himself. Why don't you spend some time entertaining a few of us tonight, Alessia?"
Louise opened her phone camera and pointed it at me.
"Make them happy, and I'll let you leave."
I trembled uncontrollably with fear as I shouted, "Oliver is right outside! Aren't you afraid he'll see what you're doing?!"
No sooner had the words left my mouth than footsteps sounded outside the door.
Suddenly, Louise grabbed a wine bottle from the coffee table, smashed it, and slashed her own forearm with a shard of glass.
"Ah!" She screamed and dropped the broken bottle. Blood immediately streamed down her forearm.
Oliver pushed open the door and witnessed the scene. He rushed over like a madman and pulled Louise into his arms, the corners of his eyes bloodshot with fury.
"Alessia, you vicious woman!" he roared.
Louise collapsed against him, crying as though she had suffered some unbearable injustice.
"Alessia refusing to accept my apology would have been bad enough, but why did she have to hurt me? It hurts so much, Oliver! It really hurts!"
"I never touched her! She did it to herself!" I cried in my defense, but Jericho interrupted me from the side.
"Alessia, you've gone too far! You even threatened to sell Louise to some old man so he could abuse her. Even if your private videos were leaked, that doesn't give you the right to take your anger out on Louise and ruin her innocence!"
"Alessia!" An utterly terrifying aura radiated from Oliver as he spoke each word through clenched teeth.
"So many people witnessed what happened. What do you have to say for yourself now?"
I looked at him in disappointment. "You'd rather believe all these people than believe me?"
His gaze turned ice-cold. He stared at me for a long moment before finally speaking.
"Weren't you all saying you wanted a taste of her? Fine. Just keep it over her clothes. Don't actually do anything to her. Other than that, you can do whatever you want with her tonight."
I stared at him in disbelief, my eyes wide with horror.
"Oliver, don't do this to me!" I shrieked in fear. But he merely shot me a glance, then scooped Louise into his arms and walked away.
Over his shoulder, Louise looked back at me with the triumphant smile of a victorious temptress.
The door slammed shut with a bang, and a chorus of disgusting cheers immediately surged toward me.
Jericho was the first to step forward.
"Louise really is something else! She told us all we had to do tonight was play along with her little act. I didn't believe her at first, but now I see she was right."
"Don't worry, Alessia. We won't interfere with your wedding tomorrow. Just think of it as helping Oliver inspect his bride before the big day."
"Lay a finger on me, and I'll make sure every one of you regrets it!" I struggled violently, but they still dragged me toward the sofa.
Someone... please, someone save me...
The next second, the private room door burst open under a powerful kick.
Through my tear-blurred vision, I saw the tall silhouette of a man standing against the light, with several bodyguards following behind him.
In just a few swift moves, they had knocked all seven or eight men to the ground.
Denver rushed toward me and gathered me into his arms. His thumb gently wiped away the tears of terror on my face.
"Don't be afraid. You're safe now," he whispered gently. Then his voice rang through the private room, cold and merciless as death itself.
"Whatever part of Alessia's body these bastards touched, cut that part off."
Amid a chorus of desperate pleas for mercy, Denver took off his jacket and wrapped it around me before carrying me out.
"I've seen all the negative news about you. Don't worry. I'll take care of everything."
At last, the tension in my heart finally eased.
I cried until I had nothing left inside me while resting in Denver's warm embrace. Then I took out my phone, opened my email, and forwarded the documents I had received earlier to Oliver. I scheduled the email to be sent at a specific time.
After that, I called both the public relations team and the police.
Oliver, I hope you enjoy the wedding gift I've prepared for you.
...
The following morning, Oliver woke up in a hotel bed with Louise in his arms.
After dressing in his groom's suit, he got into the car, thinking that once the wedding was over, he could finally settle down and live peacefully with Alessia and their child. After all, he had already taught her more than enough of a lesson.
When they passed a flower shop, Oliver told the driver to stop. He personally went inside and bought 999 irises, Alessia's favorite flowers.
Imagining the delighted smile on her face when she saw them, he couldn't help letting the corners of his mouth curve upward.
But at the wedding venue, he waited and waited. Even after the emcee had prompted him twice, Alessia still hadn't appeared.
"What tantrum is she throwing now? Does she think running away from her own wedding will make me go after her and beg her to come back?"
He frowned impatiently. Just as he was about to call Alessia, Louise suddenly let out a shriek and held her phone up in front of him with trembling hands.
"W-Who posted all of this online?!"
Cold sweats trickled down Oliver's forehead.
Just then, one of his friends came stumbling into the wedding hall, battered and bruised, his face deathly pale.
"S-Something terrible has happened! Alessia was taken away by a man!"
