The Sister They Forgot, The Fiancée They Lost

When the final stop of our trip around the world came to an end, money was tight, so my brother suggested we draw straws to decide how each of us would get home.

On the first draw, my best friend got the train, but my brother, Ethan Sinclair, accidentally knocked over the cup of straws and insisted we start over.

On the second draw, my best friend got the ship, but my childhood sweetheart, Julian Prescott, somehow lost the straw, and we had to start over again.
