Chapter 5

After an entire night, early the next morning, I went to Paige's house with flowers and bags in all sizes to "apologize" to Celeste just as they had expected.

Celeste raised her chin and accepted the flowers.

She snorted, "You're not that stupid after all. But Mom's the one you've offended. Go and apologize to her nicely."

I smiled fawningly and followed her into the room, asking her to put in a few nice words for me. But then she kicked me out to the living room.

Paige was scolding mockingly in the kitchen.

I sat "uneasily" in the living room and finally said in embarrassment,

"Mom, I'm sorry, but I really can't help this time."

Then I left dejectedly.

Back in my private office, I immediately turned on my computer and pulled up the two hidden surveillance videos left at the Kain family's house.

It seemed that as soon as I left, Celeste and Paige called Rocky and asked him to come over.

In the video, I didn't see Paige, only Celeste and Rocky, the "cousins" embracing each other like a couple in love.

Rocky's hand reached into the corner of her clothes as he coaxed her.

"Celeste, after we secure the business with Glory Group this time, we will find a way to get rid of Jed. Then you will be mine completely."

In Celeste's eyes, there was deep affection that I had never seen before. With a blushing face, she softly and coquettishly said.

"Good. I'm not your cousin anyway.

"I'm yours to begin with. I always ask him to use protection when I have sex with him."
