Serving My Don's Mistress Until I Got My Hundred Million

Chapter 2

Cassius stared at me, a conflicted look crossing his face.

"Do you really care about money this much? You were never like this..."

Ignoring the stabbing pain in my chest, I forced a careless smile.

"If I don't want money, what else can you give me?"

His dark eyes were full of that terrifying need for control.

"Maybe you could beg me. Beg me not to divorce you."

"Sienna, get on your knees right now, and I'll tear these papers up."

Beg him?

I bit my lip. I thought of the countless nights of humiliation over the last three years.

I had begged him.

The rainy night I found out he was moving Gia into the estate, I threw myself in front of his car to stop him. I fell hard.

I bled all over the driveway, only to hear him say:

"Don't be so stupid next time. Gia hates the sight of blood."

"And then what?"

I looked at him calmly, mocking him.

"Then you tell me this is just another bet to see how pathetic I look when I break down?"

I gave a bitter laugh.

"Cassius, stop testing my limits."

"Haven't you played me enough?"

A single, cold tear fell down my cheek.

The tears I held back for so long finally broke.

Cassius instinctively reached out, his rough thumb wiping my cheek.

For a second, he almost looked guilty. He sighed.

"Gia is having my baby. She's young and spoiled. As her older sister, just let her have her way."

"Don't worry. Marrying Gia is just to give the kid a legit status for his baptism. After that, you'll still be my only recognized Donna."

He patted my head like I was a loyal dog.

"I'll give you the hundred million. Take the cash, go have some fun. When I fix everything, we'll remarry."

"Happy now?"

I looked up, smiled, and softly said, "Okay."

"Then book me a flight to the Aspen cabin. We promised to watch the first snow together."

He breathed a sigh of relief and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Good."

"You go first. When this is over, I'll join you."

"Sienna, wait for me."

I leaned against his solid chest and said nothing.

But I knew better than anyone. I was never going to wait for him again.

Cassius finally let me go.

"Give me the keys to the estate. Move out for now."

"Gia needs to move in. You know she's emotional after the birth. Pack your things quietly, don't let her see you, it'll ruin her mood."

"The estate is old anyway, let her have it."

He coughed and handed me a key fob.

"I bought you a new penthouse in Manhattan. Move your stuff there."

I stayed silent. I remembered when we first bought that estate.

We designed every corner together. We planned two nurseries, one for a boy, one for a girl.

He called it our sanctuary.

But later, he spent his nights in his office with Gia, until dawn.

While I was alone in that empty house, miscarrying our first child.

I smiled, took my new keys, and handed him the old ones.

"It's fine."

"New is good."

From now on, everything I own will be new. Not just the house.

After leaving headquarters, I didn't go to the new penthouse. I drove to the private asylum.

For three years, I visited my "sick" family here, crying until I passed out.

But they didn't know I met someone else here.

I pushed open the door to a VIP room. A young man sat by the window.

He had sharp features and a cold, lethal vibe way beyond his years.

If any European arms dealer were here, they would recognize him instantly: the youngest son of a weapons empire, framed by his brothers and locked away across the ocean.

I spoke softly.

"I have the money. I'm taking you back to Europe."

Cassius didn't know. I wasn't going to Aspen. I was going to Monaco.
