After Being Called a Poor Bastard, I Shocked My Boyfriend's Sister!

Chapter 8

4,024 words

"My brother said you were going to stay with your mother for a few days. Why are you back so early?"

I was so speechless about her and didn’t want to talk to her.

"This is my home. I can come back whenever I want. But you! How could you bring people back without my permission? I will give you the last bit of dignity because you are James’s sister. Now, immediately leave my house with your friend and your belongings!"

My molars were almost crushed.

I hadn't expected these four people to be so playful, as if they were watching a clown when they looked at me.

The other woman raised her eyebrows and smirked.

"Aria, so this is the stingy girl who is short. Sure enough, your brother must have been bewitched! Otherwise, how could he be interested in her?"

"Right. And she wants me to leave! This is the house my brother rents. I know it. He pays the rent every month, and you can’t kick me out! This is ridiculous. Do you really think you're my sister-in-law?!"

Aria finished speaking and walked past me, sitting arrogantly on the sofa. She accidentally knocked over a bottle of beer.

Half a bottle of pale yellow beer quickly soaked into my felt... It was worth 900 dollars! I couldn't take it anymore!

"So, you guys are not willing to leave, right?"

Originally, I didn’t want to embarrass them, but now I calmed down. I lowered my head and sent a message to James.

Aria and the woman both laughed, while the two men looked amused.

"So what? Are you going to call the police and arrest us?" Aria raised her eyes and challenged me.

That was a good idea!

With her reminding, I immediately picked up my phone and called the police. The police station was right next to the community, and the police officers arrived in less than ten minutes.

"Who called the police?"

They thought I was just bluffing. When they saw the police really coming, the other three except Aria started to panic and made excuses to leave first, saying they had something to do.

Aria stopped them and said, "If anyone's going, it should be her. The house is rented by my brother, and I am related to him by blood."

Yes, you should stay! If you left, who would compensate me for these things?

I greeted the police officers and explained to them that I was the one who had called the police, and then I roughly explained the situation to them.

After the police officers came in and took some photos, they told them, "Now the owner of the house has reported that you have illegally entered the house and caused some damage to the property inside the house, and some items have been stolen. Please come with us to the police station!"

Aria pointed at me and asked the police, "Is she the owner of the house?"

To prove her wrong, I immediately ran back to the master bedroom to find my title deed. Even if I held my breath, I could still smell the improper smell in the room. It was so disgusting... My house was dirty!

When I came out, I handed the title deed to the police officer, and Aria stubbornly came forward to take a look.

"Impossible, officer. This title deed must be fake. This house was rented by my brother. He told me and my mother that he pays the rent every month..."

I smiled and said, "He does pay the rent every month, but he pays it to me. I am his landlord!"

Not long after I started a relationship with James, the landlord of the house he was renting wanted to sell it, and he couldn't find a place. So I let him move in with me.

He insisted on paying me rent, so I took half of the market value from him every month, which I used to pay for property fees and utilities, as well as buying him some small gifts...

He never told his family that he was living in his girlfriend's house. He only told them that he rented a house and lived with his girlfriend.

I wanted to preserve my boyfriend's dignity and it was okay to not talk about it.

But now I felt ridiculous that someone wanted to use this excuse to kick me out of my own house.

I wouldn’t forgive James if he did it, not to mention his sister!

Take it home
