Husband's Conspiracy

On Valentine's Day, I suddenly found myself pregnant.

I excitedly called my husband, who was working in another city.

But he said that he didn't go home at all after attending a wine party a month ago.

I asked him again in disbelief, "Honey, are you sure you went to the hotel that day?"

Joey Nash, my husband, replied casually, "Yes, I had a party with Mr. Smith that day. We stayed a little late, so we went to the hotel nearby to rest. I thought you knew about it."

A chill ran down my spine.
