Betrayal Behind Closed Eyes

I never expected my surprise for my husband, Max, to turn into a nightmare. After my successful eye surgery, I came home full of hope to tell him that I could see again. However, what I saw was betrayal: Max and my best friend, Anne, were together in the same room. Not only that, Anne tried to eliminate me, but her plan failed. Even more shocking, Anne was pregnant. To find out how deep this betrayal went, I chose to pretend I was still blind. I wanted to know how far they would go to destroy me before I finally paid them back.
