After the Fall: A Love Renewed

Tonight was meant to be special. Rheymond Charles, my boyfriend, was going to propose, as he had promised. But Rheymond did not come.

Later that night, my phone buzzed. It was an Instagram Reels notification from Darla Schwartz, Rheymond’s childhood friend, who had posted something new.

I stared at the screen, disbelief washing over me. There she was, laughing in the snow, wrapped in Rheymond’s arms. They were at the Alps Snow Festival.
